I'm creating this post just to continue with the series numbering, because I already told part of the story in yesterday's post. I also already published photos in G+ (complete with captions in each and every one of them!) You must read them all, no matter how boring. The fun starts  here . Till later.

The latest upgrade to the 300zx earned it a place in Z Car Garage's blog. Those pictures don't even show how gorgeous the new wheels are. Still wouldn't have minded 17s but it's harder to find that size these days. I got a staggered config, with 235/40R18 at the front and 275/35R18 at the back. The wheels are WedsSport's SA-67R s, and rubber is of the Bridgestone Potenza S04 kind. Of course out the window went my plans of getting something "just ok" so the original budget pretty much tripled, if not quadrupled for this item. Hell, even the Enkei's would have been cheaper. But these wheels are lightweight and really top notch in quality. And the tires grip. Holly shit they really do. So I'm happy (and safe, don't forget safe). I will need to get som...

I finally got a hold of my new trim kit for the Z interior, gray Alcantara with 13 pieces that cover all places that came with some suede-like fabric originally. I also ordered new leather covers for the seats (which are leather all-around, inlike the original covers with are real leather on the front and synthetic on the backs). Ordered from interior-innovations.com, for about $750 with shipping. Let's quickly remember the status of the seats and trim: Yeah, they needed replacement. So this is the 13-piece kit, more or less. The sections they cover are: Behind the seats: center piece and two side inserts Doors: one insert in each Center armrest Center console: left and right of the lower console, and left and right of the upper console.
